The PGP in digital social media integrated with IoT and big data gives a dual qualification edge
iMET Global School of Digital Social media and IoT, New Delhi, has inked a pact with The European University for Tourism (UET) Italy to strengthen its foothold in the higher education sector by launching its PGP in digital social media integrated with IoT and big data.
iMET Global is an emerging skill-building arm of Pradurbhav Foundation, a section 8 Not-for-Profit organisation that works for social development. Deepak Goel, CEO, iMET Global, said, “The programme is designed in alignment with our proprietary frameworks, at affordable fees, with mentors and industry practitioners and not professors. The learners will be exposed to exhaustive live industry simulation and internships to learn by doing and observing. We believe that the programme will assist the learners to navigate through Covid uncertainty and build a strong future.”
The PGP adopts the approach of ‘Diversity in Delivery’ suitable for different sets of learners — freshers, experienced working professionals, business owners, and entrepreneurs. With the UET alliance, the PGP gives a dual qualification edge to its learners to take two trimesters in the Milan campus including one paid internship opportunity. The course duration is one year for working professionals and two years for students. It’s an eight-trimester course with 12 months of classroom orientation and 12 months of extensive industry orientation, followed by campus recruitment.
The joint programme is said to have a special importance during Covid times to help students navigate through the crises in worst-hit industries such as travel, tourism, hospitality, aviation, banking, event management, luxury, and lifestyle. Admissions for the Fall and Winter batch are open with the subject to eligibility.
